Outline

Disclosure: MAG Growth publishes this page and is listed first. MAG Growth is the DTC agency brand of My Amazon Guy. Every other agency is described only from what it publishes on its own website.

How we compared

  • We checked each agency’s own website on November 2, 2026. Directory listings, review sites and other agencies’ roundups were not used as sources for any fact in the table.
  • We compared six things buyers ask about first: who the agency is best for, core services, published starting price, published minimums or fit, contract terms, and published proof.
  • If an agency does not publish a price, minimum or contract term, the table says Not published. That is normal in this industry. It is not a criticism. Ask for a written quote.
  • No agency paid to be included, and we did not contact any agency. After MAG Growth, agencies are listed alphabetically. The order is not a ranking.
  • Facts change. If you work at a listed agency and something here is out of date, contact us and we will correct it.

The agencies

1. MAG Growth (our company)

MAG Growth is the DTC agency brand of My Amazon Guy. We run paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok and programmatic) as one plan, and the same team handles email and lifecycle, full site builds, landing page optimization and creative production. We also run SEO, AEO (answer engine optimization, so your brand shows up in AI answers) and GEO (generative engine optimization), plus full funnel content from first touch to repeat purchase. That matters for DTC brands because ads, the product page and the post-purchase flow usually decide profit together.

  • Pricing: Starting at $2,500/mo. No setup fee.
  • Ad spend: No minimum. We recommend at least $1,500/mo in ad spend so tests can reach useful data.
  • Terms: We typically do 3, 6 and 12 month agreements, and we can do month to month options.
  • Ownership: You always own everything: your ad accounts, pixel, Business Portfolio, data and creative.
  • Proof: 430+ brands, $10M/mo in paid media managed and 95% client retention. For Hutch Mountain, a generator accessory brand, MAG Growth took Meta Ads from inactive to 11.02x ROAS in June 2026, and gross website revenue grew 141% from April to June 2026 (case study).
  • Best for: brands that want one accountable team from first click to repeat purchase without a $5,000+ retainer or an ad spend minimum.

2. Common Thread Collective

Common Thread Collective, based in Costa Mesa, California, calls itself an “ecommerce profit partner”. Its lead offer, the Prophit Engine, pairs CTC’s own software with a dedicated Prophit Engineer who owns the forecast and daily execution. Services include Meta, Google and TikTok Shop ad buying, ad creative and incrementality testing. CTC says its team has “engineered over $3 billion in profitable growth” and reports an average client tenure of 14+ months. Pricing is not published.

Best for: brands that want marketing decisions tied to contribution margin and a forecast.

3. Darkroom

Darkroom serves mid-market and enterprise consumer brands, which it defines as typically $10M to $500M in revenue, and it says plainly that the fit is poor for single-channel brands and companies under roughly $5M. It is one of the few agencies that publishes a starting price for each service: for example, paid media management from $5,000/mo, performance creative from $8,000/mo, Amazon management from $6,000/mo and CRO from $5,250/mo. Published results include Laundry Sauce growing Amazon net revenue 290% and Everlane growing Amazon revenue 123%.

Best for: larger brands running ecommerce, Amazon, TikTok Shop and retail at the same time.

4. Hawke Media

Hawke Media positions itself as “Your Outsourced CMO” and lets brands choose services à la carte across paid social, paid search, lifecycle, SEO, GEO and AEO, connected TV, PR, web design and Amazon. It says it has grown 6,000+ brands. Pricing and contract terms are not published.

Best for: brands that want one firm to cover most marketing functions and pick services as needed.

5. NoGood

NoGood is headquartered in New York and builds “growth squads” across AEO, SEO, paid search, paid social, creative and analytics. It works in consumer and ecommerce as well as SaaS, B2B, healthcare and fintech. It states that engagements are monthly retainers, that its average retainer is above $20,000/mo, and that it has an 84% client retention rate.

Best for: well-funded brands that want AI search visibility and paid acquisition from one team.

6. Pilothouse

Pilothouse is a full-funnel performance agency for established DTC ecommerce brands, covering strategy, acquisition, retention, creative and CRO “all under one roof”. It names clients including Benchmade, Hestan Culinary, Big Blanket, Chamberlain Coffee and General Mills, and says it works with brands in the UK, EU and Australia as well as North America. Pricing combines monthly retainers and performance-based incentives and is not published.

Best for: established DTC brands that want media buying and an in-house creative team working as one.

7. Power Digital

Power Digital is a privately held growth marketing agency organized into industry divisions such as CPG, fashion, healthcare and lifestyle. Beyond paid media, Amazon and TikTok, it offers PR, affiliate, influencer, email and SMS, data infrastructure, marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing, run on its own AI operating system, Omega. Pricing is not published.

Best for: brands that want measurement and media planning as much as campaign execution.

8. Tinuiti

Tinuiti, founded in 2004 as Elite SEM in New York, describes itself as a media agency covering Amazon and retail media, streaming and linear TV, social, search, AI SEO, affiliate, creative, CRO, and email and SMS, measured through its Bliss Point operating system. It reports $4B in digital media under management and 1,000+ employee owners, and it runs a separate “Foundation” offering for midsize brands. Pricing is not published.

Best for: large brands with budgets across many channels, including streaming TV and retail media.

9. Top Growth Marketing

Top Growth Marketing, founded in 2011, runs Meta, Google and TikTok ads, Klaviyo email and SMS, creative and analytics for DTC brands at $100K to $25M+ in annual revenue, with a focus on Shopify. It reports $336M+ in ad spend managed and $783M+ in client revenue. Its own comparison page lists pricing from $5,000/mo on month to month terms.

Best for: Shopify brands that want paid and email run by one team.

10. Y’all

Y’all is a paid acquisition agency for DTC health, wellness and beauty brands and multi-location clinics. It offers performance creative, including UGC, on its own or with media buying on Meta, TikTok, Google and YouTube. It publishes its pricing: creative-only engagements start at $10K/mo, full-service engagements start at $17.5K/mo, and once ad spend passes $175K/mo the fee moves to a declining percentage of spend starting at 10%.

Best for: health, wellness and beauty brands that need more and better ad creative.

How to choose a DTC marketing agency

  1. Start with your bottleneck. If ads are fine but repeat purchase is weak, you need retention depth. If ads stall after a few weeks, you need creative volume. If traffic converts poorly, you need CRO and site work. Pick the agency whose core services match the problem.
  2. Match the agency to your budget. Several agencies here publish entry points from $5,000/mo to $17.5K/mo, and some say their fit starts at $5M to $10M in revenue. If you are smaller, look for a published starting price and no ad spend minimum.
  3. Ask how success is measured. Platform ROAS alone can overstate results. Ask whether the agency reports blended numbers such as total revenue against total ad spend, or contribution margin.
  4. Confirm ownership in writing. Your ad accounts, pixel, data and creative should stay in your name, with the agency added as a partner.
  5. Read the contract terms. Ask about the initial term, the notice period and what happens to campaigns and creative if you leave.
  6. Ask who does the work. Find out who builds campaigns, who you talk to each week, and how many accounts that person runs.

FAQs

What does a DTC marketing agency do?

A DTC marketing agency grows a brand’s own online store. Most combine paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok), email and SMS, creative, and conversion work on the site. Some also build Shopify stores or manage marketplaces like Amazon.

How much does a DTC marketing agency cost?

It depends on scope. Among agencies on this list that publish prices, entry points range from $2,500/mo (MAG Growth) to $17.5K/mo (Y’all full service), and NoGood says its average retainer is above $20,000/mo. Ad spend is extra.

Do DTC agencies require a minimum ad spend?

Some do. MAG Growth has no ad spend minimum and recommends at least $1,500/mo in ad spend, separate from its management fee. Others state a revenue fit instead; for example, Darkroom says it typically works with brands at $10M to $500M in revenue. Ask each agency directly.

What contract terms are normal for a DTC agency?

Terms vary. MAG Growth typically does 3, 6 and 12 month agreements and can do month to month options. Top Growth Marketing lists month to month terms. Many agencies do not publish terms, so ask for the initial term and notice period in writing.

Who owns the ad accounts and data if I leave?

You should. Ask for it in writing before you sign. At MAG Growth, clients always own their ad accounts, pixel, Business Portfolio, data and creative.

Should I hire a full-service DTC agency or a channel specialist?

A specialist makes sense when one channel drives most of your growth. A full-service agency makes sense when ads, email and the site all need work, because one team can see how changes in one affect the others. MAG Growth covers paid media, email, full site builds, SEO, AEO, GEO and full funnel content under one team.

Is MAG Growth part of My Amazon Guy?

Yes. MAG Growth is the DTC agency brand of My Amazon Guy, which has worked with 430+ brands.
